A mission statement is supposed to be a declaration of purpose and focus. In our case this was about two main objectives; allowing a child to thrive in their educational setting and for what they learn to be truly useful. After much consideration this is what we felt best reflected these objectives.
Members of The Lifehouse will feel safe and supported to become confident, happy and enthusiastic members of society. They will achieve realistic goals and leave with qualification and skills that set them up for a sustainable pathway into adulthood.
However, two sentences can hardly reflect the amount of nurture, care and consideration that we put into our work. The Lifehouse is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people at all times. Our dedicated team of staff share this commitment to not only provide our students with a safe and happy place to learn, but to prepare them for their life beyond school.
